Set within a larger rural estate, the residence retains reminders of its history – with raw stonework and deliberately imperfect textural elements – forming the foundation of a warm sanctuary interior.
Fabrikate’s approach celebrates the building’s unique lineage—once home to several prominent artists—by enhancing its character rather than erasing it. Reflections from the central magnesium pool introduce a calming counterpoint to the weight of the stone, while carefully filtered light tempers the atmosphere and creates a calm with quiet precision.
Sustainably sourced materials restore and encase the structure, creating a tactile, transportive experience. The interiors invite interaction, yet feel deliberately familiar—layered, soulful, and deeply connected to place.
